Hi. Thank you for your service and your dedication to our country.  Welcome to Jacksonville, Florida!  Here, you can enjoy wonderful weather year ‘round, with just enough seasonal change to make it interesting!  We have nice beaches, fishing; and boating on the pretty St Johns River.  There are a lot of parks and lakes around here to hang out in on a lazy day.  Downtown is starting to get spiffed up. We have major league football, and The Jacksonville Suns baseball club you can go to. 

Want to learn something new? Jacksonville has five major colleges and universities including the well known Florida Community College at Jacksonville, recently renamed the Florida State College.   We have great modern, classical, and traditional art at the Cummer Museum and the new Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art.  The kids (and you) will love the Jacksonville Museum of History and Science.  Stage, screen, rock, Country and Western, and classical music make their way here pretty often. Then, there's the Jacksonville Jazz Festival for awesome jazz if you don't mind lots of other people enjoying it with you.   

My husband, Ned, a former Army officer (don't hold that against him if you are in another branch of the armed forces) and I really like to work with servicemen and servicewomen. Why?
